Supervision

When attending Hugo’s, children must be supervised at all times by the adult accompanying them. The adult accompanying the child/children must take full responsibility for them, throughout the duration of the session and stay within the building. Adults attending without children are not permitted on site.

Food and drink

Hugo’s offers a choice of hot and cold drinks, along with cake and other snacks. These can be purchased at any time during the session, however, must be consumed within our eating area, where tables and chairs are provided. This is to adhere to health and safety requirements.

We cater for many different dietary and allergen requirements, therefore, only food purchased on site, can be consumed on the premises. This is due to allergens and health and safety requirements. We kindly ask that you are courteous to our other visitors and leave your table once you have finished your food and drink, if others are waiting. 

Timings

We kindly ask that you arrive at your booked session time. This enables us to sanitise and replenish between sessions, to ensure you are presented with a clean and tidy environment, ready for your child/children to play, explore and be creative.
You will be greeted and booked in upon arrival, and then you can get exploring!

Once your session has finished, we kindly ask that you exit promptly, to support our turn around for the next session.

Footwear

In order to keep our play areas clean and tidy, we kindly request that shoes are removed on arrival and socks are worn during your visit at Hugo’s.

Cancellations

If you are no longer able to attend your booked session, we would advise you contact us and let us know and we will do our best to accommodate a different date and time for you. Please be aware that we unfortunately cannot guarantee this, however, aim to be as flexible as possible.

We are unfortunately unable to refund booked sessions.

Personal items

Hugo’s takes no responsibility for personal items, therefore, please keep any valuable items with you. Should any items become lost or damaged during your visit, we cannot be held liable.

Behaviour

It is important to us that you are able to have an enjoyable visit, therefore, we kindly ask that you are polite to others, share and look after our toys and return the equipment to its correct place, ready for the next explorer.

Health and Safety

We hope that no accidents will occur whilst you are visiting Hugo’s, however, we know that children like to explore and are curious, so this may happen. Our staff are trained to support in these events, therefore, please let us know if there is an accident or incident, to enable us to assess, minimise any re-occurrence and complete any relevant documentation.

You will notice during your visit there are two steps on site. Whilst this will make for curious exploring for your child, we would like you to bare this in mind when attending and remind your child/children. Ramps are available for wheelchair use.

Dogs

Although dogs are also a part of our family, we only permit assistance dogs on our premises.

Personal data

We will only collect the personal data that is necessary for our booking procedures. We will use your personal data to communicate with you about your booking.

Photographs

You are welcome to take photographs of your child during their visit for your personal use. We know how important it is for those memories to be captured! We kindly ask that you only photograph your child, unless permission has been sought from other parents/carers.

Pushchairs

Unfortunately we do not have the capacity to store pushchairs inside, due to making use of all the little nooks for the children's exploration. We kindly ask that you bare this in mind during your visit. You are more than welcome to park pushchairs outside the entrance to Hugo's, but please don't forget your rain covers, especially if we are experiencing typical British weather!
